Tsavo National Park is one of Kenya’s safari Parks, the park’s proximity to the Coast make it a popular safari destination. Below is an itinerary for a 2 days Safari to Tsavo East and West from Mombasa. Accommodation can be in a luxury safari lodge or a budget safari camp. wildlife that can be seen while on this Mombasa safari to Tsavo East and West include large herds of elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard, buffalo, hippo Crocodile, Waterbuck, Gerenuk, etc
Pick up from the hotel at 05:00 hrs. Drive to the Tsavo East National park entering through Bachuma Gate. Morning game drive via Aruba dam, arriving at Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Tsavo West National Park , game drive with a visit of the Rhino Sanctuary where possibilities of seeing the shy Rhino can be there. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge.
Chances of seeing Leopards at the Lodge are high but not guaranteed because its wild.
Early breakfast, then proceed for morning game drive to visit Mzima Springs, where you can see Hippos and Fish in a crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing Crocodiles and Monkeys and different species of birds. After Mzima Spring , game drive enroute as you leave the park have your Lunch on your way back to Mombasa arriving late in the evening.
